WHAT IS COMPREHENSION?

  Comprehension simply means understanding. Comprehension is one of the areas of proficiency English. Thus, English learners are usually given a passage or text and questions on it to test their ability to read, understand and answer questions correctly on a given passage or text. Apart from testing the learner's reading skills, comprehension questions are often used to evaluate the learner's knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, and writing. In fact, there are five comprehension question types you must know . Nouns are important in English communication because you can hardly talk about any person or thing without first mentioning them. Whenever you mention the name of someone or something, you've used a noun in your speech or writing. This explains why nouns are among the major word classes or parts of speech in English.
